A supplement label can tell you what is inside. It rarely tells you why. In this post we walk through every ingredient in PulmoMoss Wild Sea Moss Formula, give the amount per serving, and explain what each one is there to do. The formula is built to support comfortable, everyday breathing, and every amount is printed plainly on the bottle.*
The basics
The suggested use is 3 capsules daily, and each bottle holds 30 servings. Total active ingredients come to 2,150 mg per serving. The capsules are vegetable cellulose, and the formula is free from gluten, soy, dairy, GMOs, artificial colors and preservatives.
The sea trio
Wild Purple Sea Moss (Chondrus crispus), 900 mg
This is the foundation, and the largest amount in the formula. Sea moss is naturally rich in iodine and potassium, and it contains carrageenan along with a soothing, gel-like mucilage. People have valued sea moss for generations for everyday respiratory comfort, and we use it as a whole-food powder so the minerals arrive in the matrix the plant made.*
Atlantic Sea Lettuce (Ulva lactuca), 200 mg
A green sea vegetable with iron, magnesium and vitamins A and C. It broadens the mineral base of the formula and adds antioxidant support that helps the body respond to everyday oxidative stress.*
Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus), 50 mg
A traditional brown seaweed valued for naturally occurring iodine and fucoidans. It completes what we call the sea trio, and iodine supports healthy thyroid and metabolic function, which underpins steady energy.*
The green support
Chlorella (broken cell wall), 100 mg
Chlorella is a freshwater green alga, not a sea plant, and it earns its place here as a nutrient-dense whole food. The cell wall is broken so the nutrients are easier for the body to use. It supports the body's everyday upkeep.*
Chlorophyllin (sodium copper chlorophyllin), 25 mg
A stabilized form of the green pigment that powers plants. It adds a plant-pure character to the formula and supports the body's everyday upkeep alongside chlorella.*
The herbs and botanicals
Mullein Leaf (Verbascum thapsus), 200 mg
Mullein is a classic herbalist's lung herb, valued in traditional use for its soothing, demulcent qualities. We include it for that traditional role in respiratory comfort.*
Quercetin Dihydrate (from Sophora japonica), 250 mg
A plant flavonoid that provides antioxidant support and helps support a healthy inflammatory response.*
Ginger Extract (standardized to 5% gingerols), 50 mg
A warming root extract. Ginger has a long history of traditional use for chest comfort, and it helps support a healthy inflammatory response.* Its gingerols also pair well with the sea botanicals for digestive ease.*
The targeted nutrients
N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC), 350 mg
We treat NAC as the standout active in this formula. It is the direct precursor to glutathione, which the body uses as its master antioxidant, and we use a USP grade that is odor-controlled. At 350 mg per serving, it is a working dose and not a label decoration.*
Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol), 1,000 IU
Vitamin D3 supports normal immune function.*
How the formula fits together
Read as a whole, PulmoMoss has a clear logic. The sea trio supplies naturally occurring minerals. Mullein, ginger and quercetin comfort the airways and support a balanced response. NAC adds the glutathione precursor, vitamin D3 supports immune balance, and chlorella with chlorophyllin round out the plant side. We chose these ingredients to work as a set, which is why we use whole plants such as sea moss, sea lettuce, bladderwrack and mullein and not stripped-down isolates.*
